Neil Welch Continuous Resonance Solo Project
Date: 07/04/2015
Location: A rose garden adjacent to a sidewalk in Los Angeles, CA
Instrument: Tenor saxophone
Notes:
This improvisation was documented in a Los Angeles neighborhood within a very small rose garden, Iâd say 4 feet wide by 8 feet long. The garden was adjacent to a sidewalk on what looked to actually be city property, though it was clearly cared for by someone with actually personality.
Chris Icasiano and I are on tour with our band Bad Luck. Two days ago my computer and audio recorder were stollen while getting read to load in our gear at after a show in Oakland. I lost several improvisations, including a few documented while on tour. The next day I purchased a new audio recorder and this morning I set out to document as soon as possible.
